Vineyard pesticide use: application and handling PA3

The workshop is being held at Wine Dept, Plumpton College on Wednesday, 13 March, 2013, starting at 09.00 and finishing at 17.00.

This course will cover all legal requirements of using a PA3 sprayer including preparation of sprayer, identification of parts and components, calibration, nozzle selection, air speed and direction, maintenance, cleaning and storage. NB PA3 training only - does not include test, which the trainee will need to arrange independently.

Brian Speed, from Southern Counties Training, has over 30 years’ experience as a trainer for pesticide use and is also an NPTC examiner. Brian has 10 years’ experience training with pesticide use and application in vineyards.
