The new WineSkills website is now live!

As well as providing access to the WineSkills training programme, we’ve rebuilt the site to provide additional resources for the UK wine production industry, including;

• Full details of the WineSkills mentoring scheme
• Information on the WineSkills sustainability initiative and the new sustainability guidelines.
• On-line resources covering all aspects of winemaking and vinegrowing.
• The WineSkills virtual library - providing access to e-books, journals, and research articles relevant to the industry.
• Weekly trade news.

N.B. some website content is only accessible to those working within the UK wine production industry.

New content will be added to the site on a weekly basis, and we will keep you informed of developments via a new monthly newsletter. You can also follow updates via twitter.

We plan to further expand the wineskills.co.uk website over the coming months, with the following already in the pipeline;

• WineSkills community forum - planned for December 2011
• UK Grants Tracker - planned for December 2011
• UK Grapevine pest database - planned for March 2012
• On-line sustainability self-assessment tool - planned for Spring 2012
