Vineyard pesticide use: application and handling PA1
The workshop is being held at Wine Dept, Plumpton College on Monday, 11 March, 2013, starting at 09.00 and finishing at 17.00.
The correct use of pesticides is necessary to control pests and diseases, optimise fruit quality, for environmental responsibility and minimise the costs of production. This course will cover legislation, storage, handling, use, transport and PPE. Classroom based. NB PA1 training only - does not include test, which the trainee will need to arrange independently.
Your trainer for this course will be Brian Speed. Brian Speed, from Southern Counties Training, has over 30 years experience as a trainer for pesticide use and is also an NPTC examiner. Brian has 10 years experience training with pesticide use and application in vineyards.
