Vineyard tractor driving and maintenance

The workshop is being held at English Oak Vineyard, Dorset on Wednesday, 20 March, 2013, starting at 10:00 and finishing at 16:00.

This course will cover driving tractors designed specifically for vineyards. It will include routine maintenance checks and safety considerations. The practical will include tractor driving techniques and attaching common tractor-mounted implements.PPE and suitable clothing will be required.

James Dodson graduated from Plumpton College with a BSc degree in viticulture. He has worked in viticulture and oenology in southern France, California, Canada, and the UK. James started VineWorks in 2006 which started as a specialist service for vineyard trellising, but has grown into a company offering complete range of establishment and vineyard services.
