The way in which the WineSkills project is funded is changing in September.
MASTERCLASS Wine Tourism: Optimising Cellar Door Sales with Prof Stephen Charters MW
The masterclass is being held at Wine Studies Centre, Plumpton College on Monday, 13 August, 2012, starting at 10:00 and finishing at 16:00.
This Masterclass is aimed at producers who wish to learn how to increase visitor numbers and sales through their cellar door.
The morning session will focus on:
• The benefits of wine tourism
• Beyond tours and tastings: options to attract visitors and increase sales
• Maximising consumer marketing opportunities
• Skills for successful wine tourism and cellar doors sales
• Cases studies of best (and worst!) practice in wine tourism.
The afternoon session will be a workshop to enable participants to identify their own business’s needs. In order to target training requirements, Steve Charters will send a questionnaire to participants before the Masterclass.
