Your trainer for this course will be James Dodson . James Dodson graduated from Plumpton College with a BSc degree in viticulture. He has worked in viticulture and oenology in southern France, California, Canada, and the UK. James started VineWorks in 2006 which started as a specialist service for vineyard trellising, but has grown into a company offering complete range of establishment and vineyard services.
The secondary trainer is D'arcy Gander. Darcy graduated from Plumpton college before joining Nyetimber vineyards in 2006 supervising large areas of new plantings in West Sussex. Two years later he established Vineyard Care, consulting with clients on establishing and managing new vineyards. In 2010 Vineyard Care merged with Vine Works to offer the largest vineyard contracting and establishment services in the UK. Vine Works Ltd works across the whole of the UK and has consulted, established, planted and managed more than 80 vineyards to date.
