Vineyard pesticide use: application and handling PA1 N.B Not test
The workshop is being held at Giffords Hall Vineyard on 2015-02-24 00:00:00, starting at 09:00 and finishing at 17:00.
The correct use of pesticides is necessary to control pests and diseases, optimise fruit quality, for environmental responsibility and minimise the costs of production. This course will cover legislation, storage, handling, use, transport and PPE. Class room based. The course will not include the test. The trainer will be able to help with arranging the test on a separate occasion.
Your trainer for this course will be Brian Speed. Brian Speed, from Southern Counties Training, has over 30 years experience as a trainer for pesticide use and is also an NPTC examiner. Brian has 10 years experience training with pesticide use and application in vineyards.
