Critical aspects of red winemaking

The workshop is being held at Bolney Wine Estate, West Sussex on 2015-02-04 00:00:00, starting at 10:00 and finishing at 16:00.

An in depth technical workshop, that will cover key areas where quality of red wines can be enhanced. To include phenolic maturity, cap management, carbonic maceration, fermentation options, wine balance, maturation options, filtration and bottling.

Your trainer for this course will be Peter Morgan. Peter Morgan he has a B.Sc degree in Food Science and is a graduate of Plumpton College. His winemaking interests started in 1999 when he became the winemaker at a boutique vineyard and winery in Gaillac, SW France. After graduating from Plumpton he joined Davenport Vineyard and Ridgeview Estate Winery. He was winemaker at Nyetimber, from 2002 to 2004. Peter was winemaker and lecturer at Plumpton College for 10 years, between 2004 and 2014.
